AVU Adhesion Verification Unit

The Elcometer AVU (Adhesion Verification Unit) has been developed to give users the means to check the accuracy of their traction adhesion gauges.

Thanks to its robust design, the Elcometer AVU can be used in the laboratory or on site. It allows users to check or certify their tensile adhesion gauges themselves.

A range of stud adaptors are available for testing the Elcometer 106, Elcometer 506 and Elcometer 510 adhesion gauges. Adapters are also available for testing other manufacturers' gauges.

Attach the appropriate stud adaptor to the AVU, connect your adhesion gauge, switch on and compare the value indicated by the adhesion tester with that displayed on the AVU.

The Elcometer AVU is supplied with a test certificate or suitable calibration certificate for recertification by the user.
