Elcometer 1542 Grid Comb
The Elcometer 1542 is ideal for measuring the grid adhesion of coatings up to 250 μm (9.8 mils) applied to flat surfaces and specimens.
It can be used to measure small or large panels; you can change the position of the stabilisation wheel using the hexagonal key supplied.
Each grid wheel has 8 cutting edges. When one edge is worn, simply turn the wheel to use the next edge.
The Elcometer 1542 is available with three different spacings - 1, 2 & 3mm for a wide range of coating thicknesses.
The Elcometer 1542 is available on its own (Basic Kit) or as a complete Kit with brush, magnifier & ISO or ASTM adhesive. Pro Kits are also available with three grid combs (1, 2 & 3 mm) and ISO or ASTM adhesive.
