The Elcometer 266 revolutionises high voltage coating porosity testing and adds unrivalled safety and reliability to the entire testing process.

The Elcometer 266 is suitable for detecting porosity in coatings up to 7.5mm (300 mils) thick and is ideal for inspecting pipeline coatings and other protective coatings. This high-voltage porosity detector has a built-in voltage calculator that determines and sets the appropriate test voltage according to the standard used and the coating thickness to be inspected.

	Voltage calculator The internal voltmeter/porosity detector ensures that the selected voltage matches the test voltage. The built-in voltage calculator makes voltage look-up tables obsolete. Enter the test standard, and the coating thickness and gauge automatically program the correct voltage.
	Adjustable voltage Voltage is set from the keypad: no screwdriver required. 0.5 kV to 1kV in 50 V increments, 1 kV to 30 kV in 100 V increments.
