This instrument is designed to determine dew points and relative humidity at a given time.

The Whirling Elcometer 116 A rotating hygrometer is available with a Celsius scale. A manual for calculating relative humidity (RH) is supplied with each instrument and the dew point can be accurately obtained using the Elcometer 114 dew point calculator.

The Elcometer 116C Sling Hygrometer (shown in black) is a convenient stand-alone instrument, which incorporates a sliding ruler for calculating relative humidity and dew point. It incorporates alcohol thermometers and is available in Celsius and Fahrenheit versions.
