Analytical Performance
Designed to deliver laboratory-quality results, the low detection limits of the Niton XL5 Plus enable operators to scan a wide range of materials for various applications. Identify pure metals and alloys, obtain geochemical data, analyze heavy metals, or determine plating and coating thickness. From metals to mining, and everything in between, the Niton XL5 Plus is ready to perform.

Quick Results
Powered by a 5W X-ray tube, the Niton XL5 Plus generates fast and accurate results. An enhanced graphene window ensures optimal sensitivity for each measurement – even for light elements. Results are displayed in real-time, allowing for faster decision-making. And with standard system health checks designed to verify operating parameters, your device will run smoothly.

Size and Weight
Make heavy industrial tasks easier with the Niton XL5 Plus. Weighing 1.3 kg (2.8 lbs), the Niton XL5 Plus is the lightest portable XRF analyzer available for element determination and alloy identification. Its compact size and lightweight reduce operator fatigue while increasing productivity.

Design
Tight spaces are no match for the Niton XL5 Plus. Experience extended field use with improved compact geometry and ergonomics. Reaching welds, corners, and tight joints is no longer defined as challenging test points for the Niton XL5 Plus. The standard Detector ProGuard protection also reduces risks when measuring sharp objects.

Functionality
Bright new icons and an application interface make navigation and setup easy. Use scanning and touchscreen features, even with a gloved hand. Optional directional keys provide increased ease of use. A hot-swappable battery keeps you operational when it's time to replace a low battery. Micro and macro cameras allow for precise sample positioning and collect images for better record keeping. Finally, WiFi accessibility automatically transmits data from your device to the PC.
