Yoke AC/DC Magnaflux Y-7 electromagnet
The Y-7 is a highly durable AC/DC electromagnetic yoke designed to detect surface and subsurface indications in most aggressive applications. With a sealed construction resistant to chemicals, articulated arms allowing adaptation to the contours of all shapes of parts, and a robust 3.7m strain relief power cable for on-site use,
the Y-7 is ideal for weld inspections and other remote testing.
The semiconductor controls allow the operator to use AC magnetic fields for surface indications or DC magnetic fields for subsurface indications, meeting the inspection needs.
