ASME witness, Matcon Pie gauge
The ASME Witness (Pie Gauge) is a portable instrument that is easy and quick to use, essential for locating magnetic fields and their directions during magnetic particle testing with a magnetic particle inspection instrument.
It allows for overall verification to ensure that the area to be inspected is correctly magnetized and that all conditions are favorable for detecting defects (ASTM E709).
